4 Totally Random Facts About Me
1.I'm Adopted
That is Right! So sweet and innocent, I did not know what the world had in store for me. All I wanted to do was play with dolls and have piggy back rides from my brother. My little bubble was busted at age 5 until I was 11 years old . I will not spill all details, but lets just say it was a life of moving around 9 homes and lots and lots of heartbreak. There was laughter and fun times through out the years, but I am not who I am today if it was not for those hard times. I reflect back often on those memories. As much as I never want anyone to go through it, sometimes going through tough experiences no matter what it is you will see the bright light at the end of tunnel.
2.I'm a Country Girl at Heart
Country life is the horses kicking up their heels, stacking 300+ haybales in a 2 story barn in the heat, crisps cold 5 am feedings and filling up troughs with hot/warm water. Farm life is can be difficult. Once I finally got adopted, this was life for me. At first I did not like it. Over many years of taking care of the farm, I really got to enjoy trail riding and camping aspect of it, going all over Alabama and meeting so many people. Even when the veterinarian came out to stitch up a wound or help when the horses were not well, I was right there interested with a head lamp helping the vet with whatever he needed.
I even traveled to Arkansas for a mule clinic 2 years in a row and we would ride for 5-6 hours and it was the life on the back a huge animal. It was a lot fun.
3.I am a Military Spouse
I am very thankful of the life I have with my husband. We have been together for 5 years married for 2. We are currently stationed in Germany for 3 years. My first year here is in the books and man its been a tough one. Covid hit 2 weeks after we arrived and the state of Bavaria went on lockdown and everything closed. This happened multiple times over the year of 2020. Then when I thought we had some freedom and could travel we took it. Hopefully while we are here we can travel Europe and embrace the cultures of many countries. While we wait, we work and enjoy life with our kitty Kira.
4.I have a Creative Side
Besides photography and all it's perks, I am all about drawing and painting and creating a colorful picture. In high school I took art class each year because I loved it and it was a place I could create anything I wanted with no judgement. When twilight came out.. (I was obsessed with that series) I drew Jacob Black on a canvas and gave it to my English teacher and to this day she still has it...w.e.i.r.d hahaha I know. No matter what I create on a canvas it has meaning and it brings me happiness.
